3DMD Kit Component Tracking Information

In 2008, the United States Congress passed the Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act which strengthens regulations on products intended for use by children 12 and under. The effective dates for the regulations range from 2009 – 2011. Tracking Label requirements are currently in affect.

3D Molecular Designs (3DMD) is pleased to comply with Tracking Label regulations. These regulations require 3DMD to track the production location of each component in every kit. All of 3DMD’s products packaged on or after August 14, 2009 (effective date of the tracking regulation), have a Tracking Label on the outside of the white box or plastic bag including: General Information about Production Location, a Tracking Number, and the Production Date. The Tracking Numbers for each Kit can be found below, and are a link to specific production location information.

In addition, all of 3D Molecular Design’s products are science education kits, not toys. The products should be kept out of the reach of children under the age of 3, because the molecules or their pieces may present a choking hazard to small children. They are not intended for children under 8 years old.
