Don’t Have the Resources to Purchase Classroom Materials?
If you are among the growing number of teachers using DonorsChoose to raise funds for classroom supplies, please be aware that you can post a project seeking donations to purchase several of 3D Molecular Designs’ most popular kits – The Water Kit, Amino Acid Starter Kit, DNA Discovery Kit and Map of the Human β-Globin Gene. If successful, it will be fulfilled by one of our our re-sellers – Carolina or Nasco – who are DonorsChoose vendors. If you want to raise money to buy a 3D Molecular Designs’ product that is not available from Carolina or Nasco, you may be eligible to post a special request project, and we will be contacted to fill the order after it is funded. DonorsChoose has declined our request to become an official vendor because we are a small business. Please consider contacting DonorsChoose to kindly request that they add us to their list.
Grants are available to current members of the National Education Association who are educators in public schools or public institutions of higher education. Currently preference is given to proposals that incorporate STEM and/or global learning into projects. Grants will fund the effort for 12 months, and may be used for resource materials, supplies, equipment, transportation and technology. Teachers can apply for a $2,000 or a $5,000 award.
