Presenter: Keri Shingleton, Ph.D, Holland Hall, Tulsa, Oklahoma
Since 2005 Keri has taught a variety of science courses at Holland Hall, including General Biology, Genomics, and Neuroscience. She has been department chair since 2014. Keri earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa and her Ph.D. in Biology and Biomedical Sciences, Population and Evolutionary Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She is also the Founder of Molecular Modeling for the Three-Dimensional Classroom and Adapting BioInteractive Resources for Three-Dimensional Instruction workshops for Tulsa teachers. She's on the Teacher Advisory Board Member for the MSOE Center for BioMolecular Modeling’s Science and Ethics of Genome Editing professional development course, and alumna of several other CBM summer courses.
Keri is also a writer for the College Board Pre-AP Biology Curriculum and 3D Molecular Designs’ Instructional Materials Development Team.
